Take Action

We all see the trash, we wish it wasn’t there, but it’s hard to know where to start.

Or maybe you pick up trash on your own sidewalk just to find more of it there the following week….

Is anything that ONE of us does really going to have an impact? The answer is YES! It does. And we can make even MORE of an impact when we join forces and work TOGETHER!

I know it sounds cheesy.

But as we form groups and identify areas that need our attention and hard work, we are showing, teaching and educating our community that we do care about our home. And sometimes others just need to see a good example. Let’s be that example to our neighbors and our children.

Because it’s not about assigning blame. It’s about finding solutions to why litter ends up in our ponds, rivers, forests and natural spaces. It’s about how to conserve these wild areas so we can continue to enjoy the incredible biodiversity we are privileged to live next to. We have a river otter, great blue herons, geese, swans, foxes, racoons, skunks, hawks, beavers, woodpeckers, blue jays, owls and that’s just what we have seen so far!!
